Cambridge Punting Tours

Welcome to Cambridge River Tours. It's worth pointing out that this is an archive of our old website, it isn't very mobile friendly and we aren't really keeping it up to date any longer.

For our new website, please visit and if you ended up here whilst looking for the Anchor pub, their website can be found here

Still here? Ok...

Shared Cambridge Punt Tours

Join us on a 45 minute chauffered tour of the famous Cambridge college backs.

Our tours run every day during the peak season (March - October) and we run lots of tours in the off peak season too, just contact us for details.

Sit back, relax, take in the historic surroundings and enjoy the anecdotes from our professional chauffeurs as you cover the ¾ mile stretch of the River Cam from Jesus Green to Silver Street (and back again).

On arrival at the punt station simply present your E-Ticket for guaranteed seats on the next available tour.

If you're coming to Cambridge in a large group, or if you'd simply prefer not to share we're happy to offer private punt tours. Your punt will be ready and waiting for you upon your arrival at the punt station and we'll set off straight away.

If you've got specific requests we can incorporate these into your 45-minute tour of the glorious backs. We'll cover the ¾ mile stretch of the River Cam from Jesus Street to Silver Street and regale you with all of the local history our chauffeurs have garnered over many years of professional punting.
